A practice routine is only useful if it helps a golfer understand what is happening. Many players spend time practicing, but they do not receive
A place of light. Growth. And a little silence in the chaos. DagazAcres began with a word and a feeling. Dagaz – an ancient rune that represents the dawn, a new beginning, the transition from dark to light. Acres – open land, breathing space, simplicity, nature. Together they form a digital place where we reflect on life. Not perfect, but real. Sometimes messy. Sometimes magical. And always in motion.
From morning rituals to digital detox – live more gently, day after day. Peace doesn’t have to be grand. It’s often in the little things we do – or don’t do – every day. At Dagaz Acres, we believe it’s not about a perfectly rolled-out morning routine or a zen-worthy life, but about habits that truly suit you and bring peace at your pace.
Drink a cup of tea without your phone. Start each morning with three conscious breaths. End your day with a short reflection in your notebook. Walk for fifteen minutes without a goal or rush. Schedule a digital detox day or hour. Clean up your environment before starting something new. Say no to something that doesn't really suit you.
Reflections on peace, simplicity and what really matters Sometimes you are in the middle of a day and it suddenly hits you. That question: what am I actually so busy with? You look around you – a full inbox, a to-do list that only grows, noise from outside and inside. And somewhere, underneath, lives the desire for silence. For simplicity. For real contact with yourself. I notice that it is becoming increasingly important to make room for reflection. Not big or complicated, but simply sitting down with a cup of tea, an open notebook, or just your own thoughts. A break. A moment of feeling. Because only when it becomes quiet do we hear what we really need.
Sometimes a walk is more than just exercise. It is a way to clear your head, fill your heart and let the silence in again. In the forest, on a sandy path or just through your own neighbourhood – every step brings you closer to yourself. We share stories about getting lost, slowing down, unexpected encounters and that feeling of coming home, in the middle of the green.
